This describes the cookies the software actually sets. Have it checked against your obligations before publishing.

The short version

TillMark uses essential security cookies and a session cookie when you select a language. Remembering your language between visits requires acceptance in the banner. There are no advertising or analytics cookies. Your acceptance or rejection is remembered for six months.

Not a cookie, but worth naming

The dashboard is a server-rendered application that keeps a live connection (a SignalR "circuit") open while a page is in use. Your signed-in state is held in memory on the server for the life of that connection and is discarded when you close the tab or sign out — it is not written to a cookie or to your device.

Managing cookies

Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page of the public website to change your choice. The signed-in dashboard and the sign-in page do not show this button, but your saved choice still applies there, and the sign-in page shows the choice banner if you have not chosen yet. Rejecting stops long-term language storage without changing the current language. You can also clear or block cookies in your browser. Blocking security cookies may prevent forms from working.
